PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Extel collects the personal information of global investment personnel and other corporate executives, in their professional capacities only, to perform and market the surveys. Personal information we collect may include name, location, telephone number, work e-mail address, and career profile. We collect this personal information directly from companies in the global investment community, and through our website.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA OUR WEBSITE

When you visit our website you may provide us with two types of information: (1) personal information that you knowingly choose to disclose, which is collected on an individual basis, and (2) general user information that does not contain personally identifiable information, which is collected on an aggregate basis only. In some cases, if you choose not to provide us with requested information, you may not be able to access all of our website's contents and services.

PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO PROVIDE

We will ask for personal information from you before providing access to some areas of our website, such as full Survey results. Use of this personal information will follow the principles set out in this Privacy Statement (see 'HOW WE USE AND SHARE YOUR INFORMATION')

NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Our website uses standard technology called 'cookies' and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. Cookies are a feature of web browsers that allow web servers to recognize the computer used to access a website. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user's browser on the user's hard drive. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our website and the websites visited just before and after our website. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual. You can, of course, disable cookies on your computer by indicating this in the preference or options menus in your browser. However, it is possible that some parts of our website will not operate correctly if you disable cookies. You should consult with your browser's provider / manufacturer if you have any questions regarding disabling cookies.
